Emily Moody is a third-generation Jacksonvillian, with a passion for creating a vibrant arts & culture scene that has led to a 20-year career in launching small businesses. From boutiques to being the founder of the beloved live music venue, Underbelly, she has been creatively placemaking in Jacksonville since 2003.
As the former Managing Events and Program Producer at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens she created and brought to life a variety of special events, including lectures, dinner parties, concerts, artist talks and interactive programs to create a sense of place for people to come together. Emily is thrilled to connect the arts, technology and community in a new way with her role as the Director of Community Engagement with Future of Cities for the Phoenix Arts District.
