Jay Joglekar brings over 20 years of international experience in commercial real estate development, alternative investments, and capital markets. Jay has invested in and advised on over $3 billion in private market transactions in the US, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Prior to joining Future of Cities, Mr. Joglekar was Managing Director at Invesca Development Group where he oversaw 2 million square feet of mixed-used, master-planned development in south Florida. He founded RioVento Capital Advisors in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a LatAm real estate and private equity advisory firm where he advised a number of leading deal sponsors, institutional investors, and ultra-high net worth families.

He is the Founder and General Partner of CliffStone Equity Partners, a passive venture capital fund invested in the U.S. healthcare technology sector. Previously, he held the position of Portfolio Manager with Rising Tide in Switzerland, where he managed $2 billion in AUM on behalf of a U.S. family and healthcare enterprise. He was a member of the Advisory Committee of GP Investments (Fund V), a leading Brazil-focused PE & RE investment firm founded by Jorge Paulo Lemann with over $5BN in AUM.

Jay began his career with Goldman Sachs in New York where he was responsible for market risk management across multiple proprietary trading and principal investment areas. He has been an active volunteer with Goldman Sachs Alumni Community Teamworks and Green City Force. Jay holds an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain and BSBA from Boston University, Questrom School of Business.
