Niko Woischnik dedicates his time to helping develop the Berlin technology and startup ecosystem and connecting it with the world.

Niko’s interest in servicing the tech ecosystem and empowering entrepreneurship started as a side project while working in Venture Capital, when he founded TechBerlin, the city’s first english language blog about tech and startups.

Niko later founded co-working company Ahoy! Berlin (acquired by Knotel), festival Tech Open Air (TOA) and Openers, a communications agency for technology companies.

At TOA Niko raised investment from the founders of almost all German Unicorn companies (Zalando, N26, HelloFresh, DeliveryHero, Auto 1, Soundcloud) as well as Axel Springer SE (owns Business Insider), leading VCs and startup organisations like The Family.

To boost solutions against the Covid-19 crisis Niko co-founded the HealthyTogether Initiative and Future Perfect accelerator together with wefox & finleap which is supported by dozens of leading technology companies such as Salesforce, AWS, Stripe, N26, Ada Health, DeliveryHero or Deloitte.

Niko previously worked at Amazon as a Business Development Manager EMEA and in the heydays of couponing founded Reduti.de, which was acquired by Daily Deal, Germany’s largest couponing company (later sold to Google).

Niko also serves as a Mentor at Techstars and the Zeitbild Foundation which develops educational projects to support immigrants. He is the biggest foodie you will ever meet.
