Ralph Davies serves as the Real Estate Chief Investment Officer at the Future of Cities.
Previously, Ralph was a senior analyst on the real estate special situations teams at the Soros Family Office and $2 billion spin-off, Castle Hook Partners, where he invested internationally across all key RE asset classes and also launched a Brazil RE Vehicle in partnership with the local private equity fund, VBI Investimentos.
Prior to this, he spent 3 years as a RE Portfolio Manager for the BRL10B private equity fund, Kinea Investments in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Ralph was also a VP/Sr. Research Analyst at JPMorgan for 4 years, where he covered REITs and financial institutions in both New York and Sydney, Australia. Ralph began his career as an associate REIT analyst at BMO Capital Markets in New York.
Mr. Davies earned a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from INSEAD. He is a CFA charterholder and former holder of the CGA (Brazilian portfolio management certification). He speaks Portuguese fluently.
