Paul E. Adornato, CFA, is a veteran REIT analyst with more than 30 years’ experience on Wall Street.

Paul began his career in REITs during the mid 1990’s at Merrill Lynch, by far the leading underwriter during REIT IPO boom. He then worked as part of Institutional Investor’s top-ranked research team under Jonathan Litt at PaineWebber, and later co-founded the US REIT franchise at Bank of Montreal (BMO Capital Markets) which he led for 12 years, including creating an annual industry-leading conference attracting 500 c-level executives and many of the largest REIT investors.

In 2010 he was ranked #2 in REITs by The Wall Street Journal. Paul currently teaches in the Real Estate Masters’ programs at NYU and Fordham, and helped develop (and still serves as Head Tutor for) MIT’s first online Certificate in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investments.

In 2014 he fulfilled a lifelong dream by trekking to the summit of Tanzania’s Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341′) Africa’s highest peak. A native and current resident of Brooklyn NY, Paul enjoys exploring every corner of NYC and learning about the intersection of real estate and technology.
